Guess who features in Famous Monsters' Vincentennial report?

Got the shock of my life today! Famous Monsters (a magazine I loved as a kid and even got a photo published in Issue 151) have featured yours truly in its Vincentennial report, The Presence of Price, on its website.

Click here to read what I had to say about the celebrations in Vincent's hometown of St Louis back in May, plus there's some great comments from the likes of former Fly's David Hedison and Brett Halsey, and Video Watchdog's Tim Lucas.

This has really made my day.

Win Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea Season 4 on DVD

The voyage comes to an end…

As this ground-breaking action adventure series went into its final series, producer Irwin Allen kicked into creative overdrive, resulting in some of the greatest and weirdest science-fiction television of all time. From Vincent Price’s diabolical puppet master to time-travelling androids and interplanetary kidnappings, this is the show that defined the genre, setting new standards for vision and imagination.

Prepare to dive for the very last time as we join Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart), Captain Crane (David Hedison) and the rest of the crew aboard the Seaview, the Earth’s most powerful nuclear submarine, and dive deep into the unknown in the highly anticipated final series of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

The 8-disc box-set includes all 26 episodes, plus 3 new versions of the original pilot episode and we have three copies to win, courtesy of Revelation Films.

To be in with a chance, just click on this link for details on how to enter. The competition closes 5pm Wednesday 23 November.

The Vincent Price Exhibit on Facebook

If you haven't already, VP fans should follow the Vincent Price Exhibit Facebook page. I am so enjoying their dip into the archives for rare photos, posters and lobby cards to Vinnie's long career.

Today's entry was about House of 1000 Dolls, which is one my favourites - despite how trashy it really is.

Check out my review at my House of 1000 Dolls page.
